The Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) published on 22 November a consultation on the long-awaited flagship ‘Green Deal’ programme. DECC also released an information note for local authorities outlining what role they might play in the Green Deal.
We encourage local authorities to have a look at the consultation, which ends on 18 January. We expect the government to announce the substantial detail of the programme in the budget in March.
