Local Energy speakers to address this year’s Carbon Show

Local Energy’s Chief Executive Andy Johnston and CRC consultant Karen Lawrence will be speakers at this year’s Carbon Show.

The event, which attracts a large number of carbon professionals and expert speakers, will this autumn have a dedicated CRC seminar stream across both conference days (21-22 October).

Andy Johnston’s and Karen Lawrence’s addresses will be within the CRC stream of the conference, and will address the following:

Andy Johnston: “Survival Of The Greenest: The Impacts Of Cuts On CRC Performance”

“Assess how the recession has affected businesses and their position within the CRC league table.
“Which businesses have seen the biggest impacts and what can you do to weather the storm?
“This session will help you benchmark your organisations CRC strategy and enable you to compare and explore best practice.”

Karen Lawrence: “Optimising Your Performance within the Carbon League Tables”
Thursday, October 20, 2011 – 16:45 – 17:30
“If your organisation is a good carbon performer, the league table will help give a significant boost to your organisation’s reputation, demonstrating its success in cutting emissions. This session will cover the metrics used to establish organisations place on the table and what you can do to improve your ranking.”
